Based on a New York bar that really was a former beauty parlor, this place is simply dressed up to look like an early-1960s salon, complete with vintage furniture, glittery walls and an on-site manicurist. Gossip under a retro hairdryer--minus the pink curlers--or get a martini-and-manicure combo. Signature drinks have a certain kitchiness factor: Order up a Blue Rinse, concocted with blue Caracao, or a Prell--the bar's version of a grasshopper.
